Amenities
Dulwich Park's opening hours are set by Southwark Council and vary according to the time of year. The park opens at 8am and closes at sunset - during the winter it's 4.30pm and at the height of summer it's 9pm. Opening and closing times are shown on all the park gates and noticeboards.
The park features many amenities including the Francis Peek community centre (where the park manager's office is located and many children's & adult classes are held), the Pavilion Café, Recumbent Bikes, boating on the lake (in season), football, tennis and cricket facilities, bowls (members only), outdoor gym equipment for adults and young people over 11, outdoor table tennis and a large children's playground. In addition, the Dulwich Vegetable Garden volunteer project can be found at the back of Rosebery Lodge near Rosebery Gate. Maps showing the locations of these facilities are on all the park noticeboards.
Several organisations run outdoor fitness classes in the park (licenced by Southwark Council). For details see the information boards in the foyer of the Francis Peek Centre or contact the park manager's office.
If you need information about memorial trees and benches in Dulwich Park, there are leaflets in the foyer of the Francis Peek Centre, or contact the park manager's office.
