This evergreen variety of magnolia hails from the south-eastern United States. Its very large, scented flowers give rise to its name.
Blue Atlas Cedar (Cedrus Atlantica 'Glauca')
The Blue Atlas Cedar is an evergreen conifer originating in the Atlas Mountains of North Africa. It is closely related to the other cedrus species from Cyprus, Lebanon and the Himalayas.
Swamp Cypress (Cupressaceae) - Taxodium distichum
As a new feature we should like to draw your attention to some of the special trees in the park. Our first candidate is the swamp cypress.
